Ricky Bobby

Jean Girard In Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Jean Girard (the Frech guy) quotes Blake's poetry saying "the cut worm forgives the plow" from Proverbs of Hell (1) (2)

Modern Literature
In Thomas Harris's book (and the two subsequent movies, the first titled "Manhunter" and the second sharing the name of the book) Red Dragon, a painting of William Blake's is of extreme significance. The painting The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed in Sun becomes an inspiration for the killer, Francis Dolarhyde, and the painting even seems to talk to hin throughout the novel (and the killer eventually eats it). Every piece of cover art for the written novel contains the Dragon of this painting in some form. (3)
