The Cook works for the Guildsmen. Chaucer gives little detail about him, although he mentions a crusty sore on the Cook’s leg.(1)
The Cook's tale is unfinished because it was believed to be too foul. It is believed that Chaucer expunged the Cook's tale.(2)
