Thomas Hobbes - Undoomed Warrior
(1)

Thomas Hobbes lived from 1588 to 1679. He was always involved in political and religious controversies. Elements of Law, Natural and Politic, was Hobbes' first statement of political philosophy. Written in 1640, it is based mainly on the idea of natural law that had been the main traditional belief from Aquinas to Grotius. However, his views on such topics began to change. This became evident when he reissused parts of his work in Latin. This version is known as De Cive. (2)
