Tristan and Isolde is a 2006 movie starring James Franco and Sophia Myles. It tells of the romance between the two characters who were popular during the Arthurian legend. The movie is different from the novel, Le Morte D'Arthur, in the way that in the movie Isolde's father, the king of ireland, uses his daughter as a reason to bring war upon England. Other than a few other minor differences the movie is very similar to the stories in Le Morte D'Arthur. (1)
